Prof. Damian is member of U.N.A.T.C. Senate. He is also General Manager of Editura Video - Art Documentary Studio of Ministry of Culture, Director of Public Events and Festival Department, Director of Student Relationship Department (U.N.A.T.C.). Prof. Damian is author and director of more than 30 documentary award-winning films. He is also lecturer of some of the most successful young Romanian directors who formed the unique style of the New Romanian Cinema - Cristian Nemescu (Un Certain Regard - Cannes 2007, Special Mention - Berlin 2003), Cristi Puiu (Golden Bear 2004, Un Certain Regard - Cannes 2004), Cristian Mungiu (Golden Palm 2007, EFA 2007).
